HVG: eForm
Introducing a new way of working? That's always a challenge. To really make an impact, we have to explain to the Ghent GPs not only how the eForm works, but also why it is such a step forward. And all that in a short, powerful video.
The customer
Huisartsenvereniging Gent is an organization of, for and by general practitioners. HVG ensures continuity of care, represents general practitioners and conducts active professional promotion. As the point of contact for all members and all external partners, HVG facilitates cooperation with first, second and third line partners.
The challenge
Many Ghent family doctors write a paper referral letter to refer their patients to the various Ghent hospitals. But what if it gets lost at the bottom of a handbag? Goes flying in a sudden gust of wind? Or what if the information in the letter is simply incomplete?
Together with the Ghent hospitals, HVG developed an electronic form that makes communication between general practitioners and specialists much easier and more complete. But not every GP is easy to convince: how do we get our viewers to give the eForm a try?
Our solution
We build this video around two key messages. One: the current system of paper referral letters leaves much to be desired. Two: the eForm leads to better care for your patient, and less work for you.
We choose simple scenes in and around the doctor's computer screen. In doing so, we also bring the form itself into view recognizably, so that every viewer knows what to expect. Because whoever tries it out is immediately convinced.
