Mölnlycke: Wound care reimbursement
No one is a fan of paperwork. But sometimes the right document is worth quite a bit of money. This is the case, for example, with patients who need active bandages. A little extra effort from their GP, and they get a hefty refund. High time for a video that spurs the doctor into action, while explaining in detail how the reimbursement process works.
The customer
Mölnlycke provides effective solutions in wound care and surgical procedures. Since 1849, they have been fully committed to radical innovation that improves the quality of life for patients and their caregivers while reducing the impact of healthcare on the environment.
The challenge
Family physicians already do a lot for their patients. Yet we want to add an extra task to that list of duties. Because patients who need active bandages can get a nice reimbursement through the NIHDI. All they need is a completed form, which only their family doctor can provide.
Our goal, then, is twofold. We must make it clear to our viewers how applying for a refund works, and encourage them to make this little extra effort.
Our solution
From 20% to as much as 100% refunded? That it's a nice benefit is a fact. But in addition to facts, we want to portray feelings. Because we know that family physicians sympathize with their patients over the years, and later perhaps even their children.
And so we bring you the story of Paul and his visits to his family doctor. When he needs active bandages, his family doctor kicks in. Step by step, we thus arrive at a happy ending: a nice payback for Paul!
