Municipality of Asse: Asse switches
Big changes, you have to present them in the right way. Your viewer wants to understand what will change and why, preferably in as short a time as possible. And that's when animation video is the perfect solution: we simplify, summarize and clarify the whole story of Asse so that everyone inside and outside Asse is totally on board.
The customer
Asse is a safe, surprising, diverse and Flemish municipality where numerous people enjoy living, working and living. But it is becoming increasingly crowded, and this is especially noticeable for the weaker road users. This is why the municipality launched the "Asse Schakelt" project: a comprehensive strategy with measures such as the redesign of certain streets and the construction of bicycle highways to help increase safety and livability.
The challenge
Asse schakelt was very well thought out. Five links were developed that intervene in different ways to achieve one common goal: a safe and livable Asse. But a large-scale plan such as this often meets with resistance.
To avoid that as much as possible, the whole plan should be clearly laid out. With a plan attached so that everyone understands exactly what is to happen.
Our solution
A warm, cozy atmosphere with fresh colors. A sympathetic narrative voice and equally sympathetic characters. And simplified floor plans that provide an overview of the whole situation. These are the building blocks for this clear explainer.
There is quite a lot to tell. To avoid the viewer dropping out along the way, we built our story according to a logical flow and clear structure. And we left the ending open-ended: who knows, maybe there will be a sequel to this story, with additional links?
