Fost Plus

They do important work, day after day. And yet not many people know their name. It's high time for some clear communication that explains not only what Fost Plus does, but why it's so important.  

We created a series of videos in easy-to-understand language and a bright visual style. Completely tailored to the message of course, and the target audience.

The customer

Fost Plus is the driving force behind household packaging recycling in Belgium. Every day, Fost Plus works with public and private partners to create a circular economy for household packaging, from collecting trash from citizens' homes to recycling it domestically.

The challenge

What happens to the trash in your PMD bag? What does the Green Dot logo mean? What is a circular economy, and why is it the way to go? Fost Plus has a lot to explain, and preferably in a short amount of time. Because the average viewer's attention span is very limited. 

However, a lot of these topics are not so easy to explain. The sorting process for PMD, for example, is a lot more complex than you might think. We were introduced to a lot of technical terms and studied video footage straight from the sorting center. Until we got it 100% right.

Our solution

Want to tell a complex story? Animated video is your best friend. Thanks to the combo of a clear voiceover and simplified visuals, we can convey a lot of information. And we can do it quickly, because we know from experience where we can cut out unnecessary details while still conveying the core message. 

We created an accessible, easily recognisable visual style for Fost Plus, which we use for each of the videos. This helps us get more and more viewers to know and recognise Fost Plus.
