UZ Gent

What kind of support do cancer patients receive? Why might a doctor ask you to donate an extra sample? And what guidelines do nurses need to follow when administering high-risk medication? UZ Gent has so much to say, to so many different viewers. And some messages are a matter of life and death!

There's no better way to get your message across than a short, powerful video. Especially if that video tells a strong story, in a visual style tailored to you. That's why UZ Gent decided to make us their long-term video partner.

The customer

With over 3,000 patients per day and more than 6,000 employees, UZ Gent is one of the largest and most specialised hospitals in Flanders. UZ Gent also invests in scientific research and training, as a university center.

The challenge

How do we explain the principles of pre-implantation genetic testing, without losing the viewer with a litany of jargon? How do we encourage staff to make their voices heard, when talking about a sensitive topic like end-of-life policy? Or how do we show employees that this newly implemented software is a big improvement over the last one? 

Every subject is a new challenge for us. The viewer not only needs to understand what he is being told, but also remember that message afterwards.

Our solution

As an outsider, we are a great sounding board to help you finetune a (sometimes complex) message. We figure out what the core of the message is, make sure the viewer recognises themself in the story we tell, and we hold their attention from start to finish. Ensuring that every video achieves its goal. 

We also developed a custom visual style for UZ Gent. One that we recently updated. Thanks to this new, balance style we help UZ Gent build a strong brand with each video.
